How do you get the dark stains off of CHROME shower knobs, soap dishes, and kitchen faucets? Tried everything.

Every products that claims to clean and shine the chrome---doesn't. They are dark and spotted with stains that wont come out even after several hard scrubbings with various pads and cleaners..

im thinking you may have cleaned them with something that may have taken the finish off of them. the chrome finishes are so thin, it doesnt take much . i used CLR in my tub once and my faucets were black just like you explained. i dont think you ll be seeing those things shine again

concentrations of essential oils in perfumes?

On the bottom of some of my colognes, there's something that looks like a little jar with the lid coming off with 36m written inside. I have seen this symbol (with varying numbers) on shampoos and lotions as well.

What does this mean? I'm assuming it's some sort of essential oil concentration, but does anyone know for sure?

How do I make cookies without sugar or brown sugar?

I want to make cookies without sugar or brown sugar. I only have a little bit of flour left, so i don't even know if I'll have enough. What kind of cookies can I make?

Making cookies without sugar is a biscotti

* 3 large eggs
* 1 cup of Splenda
* 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
* 1 tablespoon orange zest
* 1 tablespoon vanilla
* 1 tablespoon almond extract
* 2 1/4 cups of white all- purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 cup chopped walnuts
* 1/2 cup coconut
* 1/2 cup chopped dates

What you do:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and Splenda with a wire whisk until thick. Whisk in the butter, orange zest, vanilla and almond extracts, and mix well. Sift the flour and baking soda together and put into the same bowl as the egg mixture. Add the chopped dates and walnuts along with the coconut. Either by hand or using a beater, mix together until all the ingredients are combined. This will make a thick batter, it will be sticky.
3. Take half the dough, you may use your hands, and shape into a flat loaf about 10 inches long and 4 inches wide, tapering it slightly at the ends. Repeat with the remaining dough.
4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until firm to the touch. Remove from the oven and transfer the loaves to a clean cutting board. Let the loaves cool for 5 minutes. Using a serrated knife cut the loaves on a diagonal into 1/2 inch slices. Place the slices on their sides on the cookie sheet and bake for about 5 minutes on each side, or until well- toasted and hard.
5. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.

No Sugar Sugar Cookies Diabetic Recipe

Dough:
3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup light butter, room temperature
1 cup SPLENDA Granular
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/4 cup water
3/4 teaspoon vinegar (white or cider)
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 cups cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder

Garnish:
1/3 cup low sugar or no sugar raspberry jam
3 ounces sugar-free chocolate, melted

Directions:
Blend together butters, SPLENDA Granular and vanilla in a medium sized mixing bowl. Blend until butter is softened. Add egg substitute, water and vinegar. Mix briefly. Add flours, salt and baking powder. Mix with electric mixer on low speed (or by hand) until dough is formed. Do not over-mix.

Remove dough from bowl and place on a floured work surface. Divide dough in half. Pat each half into a circle. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour, allowing dough to chill.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a baking pan or cookie sheet. Set aside.

Remove dough from refrigerator and roll out on a floured work surface to approx. 1/8 inch thick. Cut with large heart shaped cookie cutters. Cut small heart shapes out of the center of half of the cookies (these will be the tops of the finished cookies). Place cookies on a lightly oiled cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom. Cool on a wire rack.

Lightly drizzle melted chocolate over cookies with the heart cut-outs. Spread 2 tsp. raspberry jam on the remaining cookies. Place the cookies with the heart shaped cut-outs on top of the cookies spread with raspberry jam.

Makes approximately 16 large cookies and 18 smaller cookies or 4 doz. standard sized cookies

How do you get a whole lot of massage oil out of cotton clothes?

My husband packed a bottle of massage oil without telling me. Jammed it in amongst my clothes (not his of course) and the entire bottle drained out all over a pair of khakis (98% cotton 2% lycra) and one of my favorite 100% cotton baseball shirts. I tried treating the shirt with dish soap and then washing it, but before even drying it it was clear the oil was still there.

Anyone know if I can save my clothes?

Sometimes you have to repeat the dishwashing liquid trick. Let it set for a couple of hours before you wash it. Wash the clothes in the hottest water possible for the fabric.

How old do puppies have to be to give them a flea bath?

we have 7 puppies and they will be 4 weeks old october 30th. They all have fleas somehow, so i was wondering how old they have to be to use that flea shampoo or flea collar or something to get rid of them. Or should i just give them all regular baths with dish soap because i heard you can do that too. Thankss.

Bathe them in DAWN dish soap. It's gentle enough to use on puppies and will kill fleas. Make sure if you bathe them, however, that you keep them warm and don't get any soap in their eyes. Also bear in mind that ingesting fleas is how dogs get tapeworms. 4 weeks is too young to worm the puppies however, when you do worm the puppies, don't forget about the mama dog.

Congrats to you for actually looking up the ingredients before buying a product! This one looks to me like a normal supermarket product. The harmful ingredients in that list are Dimethicone (which is silicone basically, most cheap products contain it even though this one seems quite expensive), Carbomers and Parabens (petrochemicals which clog pores and cannot be dealt with by the body, scientific studies have found them intact in breast tumors), Propylene Glycol (potentially carcinogenic and allergenic), Perfume (artificial rather than coming from essential oils). Also, it's good to know that on labels, ingredients are always written in descending order of concentration (the ones most prevalent in the product will be at the top).

what are the ingredients in Clinique liquid facial soap mild and clarifying lotion 2?

All of Cliniques products are great for sensitive skins not to mention they are Allergy Tested, Fragrance Free, and 100% derm. developed. I have been on the 3-step for years and love it!
With the Clarifying Lotion # 2 some of the ingredients are Alcohol (which just leaves that feeling of clean) water, witch hazel, glycerin, menthol, sodium borate and a few others.
The mild soap I do not know the ingredients on but I have used before with I love because it is really gentle and great for the skin.
If your hesitant about trying it I would because they back up their products and if something does not work out you can go back in and either return it or get re-evaluated to make sure it is working out.
